writing extensively about interventions as far as therapy/recovery goes really makes me feel I missed out, since I never got an intervention when things went to hell and stayed there for years - and it’s nothing anyone really does here - keep in mind Italian culture is big on the deny / ignore / pity, mock and tolerate cycle wen it comes to addiction and emotional/psychiatric disorders alike - but still: interventions. yeah.
i needed those.
granted, i never had a sober companion either. so.
